Adult Size: Most blood pythons will grow to 6 or 7 feet in length and can weigh 25 to 40 pounds. The maximum length of this python exceeds 10 feet.
Range: Southeast Asia, from Vietnam to Peninsular Malaysia, and on the eastern portion of Sumatra.
Habitat: Edge of jungles and forests, near rivers and streams.
