Adult Size: This beautiful python varies geographically in adult size. Some may be adult at only 4½ feet in length while others top out at just under 8 feet. Most captive adults seem to be between 6 and 7 feet in length.
Range: Coastal northeastern (Atherton Tableland) Queensland, Australia.
Habitat: Gallery forest, rainforest, and watercourse drainages are documented habitats of this subspecies.
Captive Lifespan: More than 20 Years
